San Diegan Sam Nejabat Helps Pay for George Floyd's Funeral (NEWS)

In response to the recent death of George Floyd, San Diegan Sam Nejabat has committed funds to support the Floyd family's funeral expenses. The unjust killing of Floyd has spurred a global movement calling into question police abuse and brutality.

Nejabat knew that the moment called for leadership - so he stepped up and committed funding to support the Floyd family.

"Our world is again facing a moment that will shape the foreseeable future," said Nejabat. "George Floyd's death could have been prevented and as a minority businessman and leader in the community, I was honored to play a small part in increasing awareness and providing financial assistance to ease the burden on the Floyd family."

Reverend Shane Harris visited Minneapolis and represented San Diego leaders such as Nejabat. Harris alongside local business owners, Mark Arabo and Sam Nejabat will be providing contributions.

As protests continue across the United States and the world, Sam knows that pragmatic leadership is needed to guide us towards a brighter future.
